The Next 1000 Languages!

Please pray for our partner in India who is assembling a team to create the next 1,000 languages.  He would like to complete the goal of 1,000 languages in one year! This is possible with enough helpers, but it is critical to find the very best people. 

The first two translation ministries we have partnered with are Wycliffe Bible Translators and Pioneers. They work with smaller people groups in many countries all over the world.  Many of the languages have only the New Testament translated, so those languages will have only our 4 New Testament Bible stories.

At the appropriate time we will partner with other ministries.  Our practical limit will be about 2,500 languages, because the remaining 5,000 spoken languages have not been written down.

We have already added the first 15 languages, and working on the next 50.  Our great praise report is that 275 languages have already been sponsored! Praise the Lord!!

I saw your material for children and I think this is very well done. I wonder if you give me permission to use your material to make smartphone apps for free download. I think especially of French-speaking Africa where I have worked for 36 years. This will be a non-profit work and without cost or gain to anyone, of course you will be listed as having the copyright. It is with the sole aim of helping Sunday school teachers to have inspiration or material for their work.  - Urs

I’m a narrator from Brazil and I’m writing in regards to Bible for Children stories.  I’m planning to record bible stories for children in brazilian portuguese and make it available online at streaming platforms. I’ve read your adaptation in portuguese and I think it communicates very well with children. I’m wondering whether I could record bible storytellings using your version.  I would mention Bible for Children at the description of each episode. Am I allowed to do so?  - Felipe

I’m a teacher in charge of pastoral program at a private school in the city. I’d like to request 20 copies of Explorers club teacher’s guides and 300 copies for pupils. 2023 Results

We thank the Lord for 3.6 million Bible stories viewed on our website in 2023.  Since we began, over 54 million stories have been viewed.  Many more millions have been viewed through other ways we offer the Bible stories, and many millions of printed tracts have been sent around the world.

Joyous New Year!  Much more than Happy New Year. We who know Jesus as our Saviour have real JOY!  And this joy is our prayer for the children around the world, which they can find only in Jesus.

We used to sing a little song with our children during our evening devotion times:
