1000 Languages

You may have wondered where the Bible stories in the next 1000 languages are coming from.  Over 200 languages have now been added to our website.  Many are from Papua New Guinea.  Other countries are Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, Philippines, Brazil, India and Indonesia.  And dozens more.

Each language owes its existence to missionaries who have dedicated their lives to living amongst tribal groups and translating the Bible into their languages.  Inside this PrayerLink you will find examples of some of these languages.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:14

Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ hoping that you are doing well. I have children population of 42, who are eager and enthusiastic about the Word of God. These children are taught without any book fitting them. They able and understand English Language. The only problem is that their teachers lack relevant BOOKS that they can use to teach them. I have therefore written to you to kindly request you to assist me with the books.

We want to encourage our neighborhood kids to read and found your free Bible Stories on-line. We plan to print out the pages and create a Bible story trail for our families to walk and read in an open lot next to our church. We will not modify the books in any way – and we will give copyright credit to your organization and the author as noted at the end of the book. Right Now, we plan to use: When God Made Everything. I am checking to see if there is anything else we need to do before creating the trail.  The book is excellent for our purposes. We are not charging them to participate. I came across your website as I was searching for free Bible lessons for children to be used for the children's ministry at our church. I was excited when I found your site and that you offer free resources. However, when I came to check out your Bible lessons, only Lesson 1 is readily available for download since according to your instructions, which I understand, requires children to go through each lesson then email them to you after answering the given activities.  I am, therefore, requesting if it would be possible that we could be given free access to all the 12 Bible lessons without the need for our children to email their outputs to you before being given access to the succeeding lessons. Since our children can't readily access the internet, our children's ministry is conducted in person at the church to ensure that the children are guided when learning the Bible. I am confident that the Bible lessons you provide will be a helpful tool for us to successfully train up the children in the ways of the Lord.

Examples of added languages

He was sitting in a chair on the pier, fishing rod in hand.  I was 'fishing' also, but not for fish.  Someone nearby caught a fish, but threw it back into the water.  Suddenly there was a great commotion as a dolphin grabbed the fish before it could swim away.  [Yes, we were in Florida.]  Then all was calm as the fishing continued.

The man in the chair started talking with me.  We talked about many topics.  Finally, he mentioned that things had been kind of rough lately.  This was my opportunity to give him our Bible story booklet.  He immediately said he would read it.  He talked more and really touched my heart, so I also gave him a Gospel of John.  Then we had to go.  Oh Lord, please save him. 

‍Annual General Meeting

‍This year our AGM will be held on July 16^th at 4:30 pm.  The location is 1820 Henderson Hwy, just north of McIvor Mall.  We have a meeting room reserved at that location.
