I am writing to you on behalf of my children to order free Bible books through your Children’s Bible initiative. As a parent concerned about their spiritual education, I find it essential that they are able to discover and understand God’s Word from an early age. - Jean Marie |

Testimony from an Undisclosed Country |
This is a really good storybook for kids. I really liked how the kids could enjoy the character and colour. It is more effective than just listening to a story.
Especially we are working with non-believing children. Parents allow their children to join our program but they are not allowed to bring the Bible to their home. So it is good that they will have the Bible but the story version and the parents will not be angry, at the same time they will have their own Bible in the storybook.
This storybook has other advantages, available in many languages. We have more options and children can get the Bible storybook in their own language. Personally, I am using this storybook in every ministry area I have, Sunday School, Slum Ministry, Children’s Camp, Seminary (where we care for children).
Editor’s note. This sister is also voicing the audio for our Bible stories in her language. |

Church Videos |
A 5-minute video has been prepared to explain the Bible for Children ministry. There are also 3-minute and 1-minute versions. These videos will soon be sent to 300 churches in Manitoba. We are not requesting financial support. We are simply letting churches know about our free resources, and asking them to also let their missionaries know about us. Please pray for a good response. |

What's New at Bible For Children |
|
The Mailbox Club |
We have partnered with The Mailbox Club (TMC) in Georgia to produce online Explorers Club Bible lessons. TMC ministers to over ten million children a year through partnerships with hundreds of churches around the world. We have converted Bible lessons in 47 languages, and have added them to our website. Franklin Graham and Samaritan’s Pursue are major supporters of a new TMC offering for children in the United States. |
|
YouTube/Vimeo |
Audio Bible stories have been created in about 100 languages. Video Bible stories have been created in about 50 languages. The video Bible stories are available on YouTube and on Vimeo. Further languages will be added as resources are available.

Bloom Library |
BFC is supporting the SIL Bloom Library by uploading our Bible stories to www.bloomlibrary.org. Our associate in England is overseeing this project. In addition to being on the Internet, the Bloom library is offered to schools in remote locations, where there is no Internet. A standalone computer system is set up in those locations.

Other Ministries Using BFC Stories |
There is a growing desire among Bible ministries to work together for the Kingdom of God. We discovered this great development at a recent Bible conference in Thailand. Over 200 Bible ministries attended, and we made many contacts at our booth. Four ministries requested to use all of our Bible story files, so we sent them several thousand files. Some will be used for evangelism through social media. Some will be loaded onto handheld devices for outreach in the jungles. Some will be loaded onto memory devices and smuggled into closed-border countries. There is amazing creativity amongst our brothers and sisters in the family of God. |

Google eBooks |
Our Bible stories in all 450 languages are offered as free eBooks on the Google PlayStore. The response has been amazing, with about 6 million Bible stories downloaded to this date.
|
|
YouVersion Bible App |
BFC Bible stories are offered as 7-day devotion plans on YouVersion in 77 languages (but not English). Over 500,000 Bible stories have been viewed this way. YouVersion has been downloaded over 700 million times. This is a great opportunity for BFC to reach more children.

BFC World Update Banquet |
This year we are responding to a special request from our older supporters. The BFC banquet will be on a Saturday at noon. Some seniors prefer to be out in the daytime, rather than the evening, especially since darkness comes early in November. November 16, at noon Faith Church 386 McGregor at Mountain |

This seems to be a time of growth for Bible for Children. I am especially thankful for a volunteer who will be assisting in the financial side of things, as I have been the only one doing this for the past 20 years. Backup is so important in this area, which became very obvious as I had some personal health difficulties over the summer (as I shared in the last PrayerLink). And we are seeking even further help as BFC expands into more and more areas. God is opening doors that we must go through. We don’t know when Jesus is returning, but we have the sense that the time is short. Please pray for the Lord to send the right people to labor with us. And once again I want to thank all of you who prayed for me over the summer. Truly the Lord has answered your prayers, and restored me. I am rejoicing in Him, and thankful to be serving Him with all my heart. And my dear wife faithfully ‘reminds’ me not to work 10 hours a day! |
