| | March - April 2025 Volume 25: Issue 2 | | Social Media | Once every week, Bible for Children sends out information over social media. This information consists of a devotion story especially for children, and a brief update on one of our hundreds of languages. This information goes to the blog on our website, and to 3 social media channels, Facebook, Instagram and X (formerly Twitter). We are currently evaluating many other social media channels to see if they may be appropriate additions for Bible for Children. Please pray for much wisdom in this evaluation. Over the last twenty years, we never ask for money in our social media, on our websites, or in our PrayerLink newsletter. We pray and trust the Lord will provide whatever is needed to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to the children of the world. So please tell your friends where they can find us. Thank you! | IndiaPraise the Lord! We are a church which was located in India. We use your pdfs regularly for our Sunday school ministry. I have gone through all of your children's books. All were really nice and very well pictured. I appreciate all of your dedicated works in Christ. Can we get a copy, if you were to publish all these pdf in one book in Tamil language? - Aseer & Sunday school teachers Brazil (translated from Portuguese)I am 12 years old and I want to start telling Bible stories on my YouTube channel. Could I use your stories for this? Thank you and God bless you. - David CameroonI really appreciate your work. Both English and French speaking language. I wish you allow me to get access to the bible stories so that I can print out and share with kids in my environment. I noticed on the website that you have only 6 colored tracts. I was wondering if it can be possible to get the remaining one. - Tiwo PakistanI see your website and it's amazing and for kids of Pakistan and our outreach mission we want you can join us in Pakistan...and also can you send us or give us kids Urdu Bibles hard copies. - Pastor Ravi Mexico / CanadaWe wanted to share this with you as we are ministering with at risk seniors in a small mission in Mexico started by a Canadian nurse. We are sharing BFC Bible stories and our seniors and staff take turns reading aloud. We’ve also used them with seniors in Winnipeg. We enlarge the font 200% which works well for them. Thank you for all your work in the Lord. - Greg and Sylvia NicaraguaI am a Sunday Bible school teacher. It was a dream for me to be a teacher and serve God since I was little. I grew up with the lessons of Bible Explorers and I wish my children, who I am now caring for as a teacher, could also have the opportunity to learn about God through these lessons. - Cynthia UgandaI am thrilled to see there are now children's books about the Bible in the Acholi language of Northern Uganda, where I regularly visit. I am wondering, are these booklets available in print from any supplier in Acholiland, or only online? We held a large children's conference recently, and would be very interested in giving these to the children. - Leonie French World (translated from French)I am the Founder of Yeshua (Kazi). Yeshua is a Christian app dedicated to creating a community network for believers. We would like to enrich our platform by integrating quality biblical illustrations. After visiting your website, we were impressed by the richness of your works. We would like to discuss a partnership to use some of your illustrations in our app, while respecting your terms of use and crediting you in accordance with your guidelines. - Marifa QuebecI am a Sunday school teacher and I am looking for bible study material for 9 to 12 years old in English and French. I would like to receive the bible study lessons if possible. - Ana Cuba (translated from Spanish)I am from Cuba and I would like you to send me books, pamphlets, treatises, and Bible courses by correspondence. I hope to receive a response. God bless you. | |

YouVersion | In case you have not heard, there is a Bible App making a huge difference in this world. YouVersion Bible App encourages people around the world to read the Bible, in hundreds of languages! The amazing Bible App was born from a vision within Life Church of Oklahoma. The noble goal is to encourage users to read the Word of God every day. What could be better!??
There is also Bible App for Kids, helping millions of children engage with the stories of the Bible for free through interactive activities created by OneHope.
Life Church also has many resources for other churches which they freely share.
Ministries that partner with YouVersion are able to offer Devotion Plans on many subjects. Users can sign up for a plan, which may be over a week or even a year. A group of users can sign up for the same plan and then discuss what God is showing them every day.
Bible for Children has 7-day devotion plans for children and families in about 75 languages. We are now adding 15 more languages, and will add more as YouVersion grows.
YouVersion expects to be installed on one billion devices by this Fall. There will be a great celebration, and Bible for Children will be there.
But now, let's hear directly from YouVersion: "Since its start in 1996, Life.Church's purpose has been to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. In doing so, we have looked for new ways to help people connect the Bible to their daily lives. Our methods have changed over the years as we've incorporated various technologies and strategies. But at the core, our focus remains on relevancy as we consistently strive to demonstrate and teach people how God's Word relates to everyone, no matter where they are in life. YouVersion represents a new frontier in Life.Church's efforts. We aren't just building a tool to impact the world using innovative technology, more importantly, we are engaging people into relationships with God as they discover the relevance the Bible has for their lives."
And here is some great news from YouVersion: "On July 19th, 2024, YouVersion launched our first Global Hub in Brazil! Our vision is to reach everyone, everywhere, every day, with God’s Word, and we can’t do it alone or only within the United States. The truth is that we’re not starting a new thing in Brazil; God is and has been working, and now we get to come alongside Him in a great way. Our Brazil Hub leaders Nando and Monique Valente, are leading this ground-breaking initiative. Here’s the good news: we’re not stopping here. Wherever you live, and whatever languages you speak, we’re not stopping until we’ve reached everyone. You can help us by consistently bringing content to the Bible App. Would you join us in praying for the Brazil Hub, and by extension, everyone in the world who has not yet met Jesus? As you pray, please remember Nando and Monique as they lead their team forward. God is up to something big around the world, and together, we can be a part of it.

| Next 1000 Languages The goal of Bible for Children with the next 1000 languages is to bless the children in even the smallest people groups with the message of Jesus through our Bible stories. Missionaries with ministries such as Wycliffe, Pioneer and Ethnos 360 (formerly New Tribes) have given their whole lives to translate the Bible into tribal languages around the world. There are as many as 8,000 languages in the world, so the task is not finished. Please pray for these translation ministries, and for the dear children waiting to hear the Gospel. |

| | | It seems that my wife and I attend funeral after funeral these days. The pastor at the last funeral presented a simple plea. "Each one of us will die. Are you ready to stand before your Maker?"
Last weekend was a total contrast as Bible for Children had a booth at the Manitoba Association of Christian Home Schools. We were surrounded by loving families, happy children, and best of all, the beautiful babies! It seemed to me that this is the way the whole world was supposed to be, until sin ruined it all.
And my heart was heavy for the children in many countries where home schooling is not allowed. Indeed, some ruling governments in those countries even try to claim that children belong to the state. How tragic, and against the Word of God! Let us pray that every child will be allowed to hear the truth, that Jesus loves them, and invites them all to come to Him for eternal life.
