| | May - June 2025 Volume 24: Issue 3 | | The Netherlands EMDC Bible Conference | | Randy Hiebert and his wife Sigi attended the conference on our behalf this May. Over 600 members of Bible ministries of every kind join together. Randy reports on his time there. By attending EMDC, BFC identifies itself with a community of organizations who are working to expand the number of languages in which the Gospel can be communicated to unreached people. Many people came to our display wanting to know if we had materials in their language and, if so, were they free to use. We were happy to have the QR code on our banner and on the English booklets so people could see for themselves. All were delighted to find out that we did, indeed, have stories in their languages. Printing houses, translation services, app builders and more were represented at EMDC. Being aware of these resources and being able to talk to representatives of these resources means BFC has an expanding list of tools and platforms available to it if and when the need arises. |

CanadaI love to hand out tracts. My goal is to give one out for every day of the year but would love to have maybe up to 1000 of them. I went to a shopping mall on Halloween day as businesses were handing out candies and asked 18 families with their children if I could give them a tract to read that tells them about God and Jesus. 16 of the 18 took them. - Normand Â
France (translated from French)I am a young servant of God working in a church in Lyon, France, where I am responsible for leading the children’s section. My desire is to help the little ones grow in faith by sharing God’s Word with them in a simple and accessible way. To enrich their learning, I am looking for teaching materials, lessons, activities, or any other material that can help me better support them. If you have resources you already use or know of suitable materials, it would be a great blessing for me to receive them and share them with the children. If you can help me, please do not hesitate to contact me. Together, we can sow the Word of God in the hearts of the youngest! - Moukouama Â
South AfricaI am from East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa. Our pastor wants us to discuss the Bible with the children (Bible in One Year). I was wondering if there was perhaps a summary for each book? We work with a class from grade R to grade 6. - Yolanda Â
DR Congo (translated from French)I am the Pastor in charge of a Church in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. I am here to request materials for evangelism and Bible study lessons for children ages 8 to 14. - Willy Â
Suriname (translated from Dutch) I found your site on the internet. Next week we are invited to tell children’s homes who Jesus Christ is. I have a number of Bibles myself, but no specific children’s Bible. I would like to receive this free copy 3 times so that I can leave 1 copy in each child’s home. - Asha and Ted Â
BurundiMy husband and I are pastors for the deaf community in Florida USA. Also we opened 3 years ago with the Lord help, a Deaf Center in Burundi Africa and will travel to Burundi soon. Our ministry focuses on deaf people. We are bringing projector and laptop as donation for Burundi Deaf Center, and for that reason we are collecting power point presentation of Bible studies, and because the deaf people in Burundi most are not able to read, the children’s histories with pictures and images are very good to teach them. - Claudia | |

‍MEGAVOICE | MegaVoice Mission: To enable everyone, everywhere to engage with God’s Word—regardless of language, literacy, or ability. MegaVoice Bible Devices: Durable, solar-powered audio and video Bibles that make Scripture accessible to people worldwide including those who are blind, deaf, illiterate, or in remote regions. Â
We have worked with MegaVoice (and their partner ministry Galcom) for many years. Bible for Children has audio Bible stories in 100 languages. MegaVoice distributes audio Bibles and other material such as Bible stories to locations all over the world. Many Bible ministries partner with MegaVoice. BFC hopes to add audio Bible stories in hundreds more languages as the Lord enables. Â
Here is just one example of help provided by MegaVoice. Â
Tragedy Strikes In October 2023, tragedy struck Ghana as the Akosombo dam spillage caused devastating flooding in nearby communities, displacing thousands of families and leaving them with nowhere to turn. The long-term consequences of this disaster have been profound, particularly for the indigenous communities living along the river. As schools closed and resources became scarce, the need for support and hope grew more urgent than ever. Â
Yet in the midst of this disaster, the provision of the Lord was evident through TheoVision and their partnership with MegaVoice International. TheoVision, an organization dedicated to making God’s Word accessible, stepped forward to offer aid and support. Thanks to the generous contributions of our donors, MegaVoice International was able to equip TheoVision with audio Bibles to bless the affected communities who had lost everything. Â
“While food remains scare, the Word of God has brought us sustenance for our souls” Â
Though resources for this village grew scarce, this effort offered a different kind of sustenance—one that nourished the spirit. As families made camp in tents in surrounding areas, the presence of the audio Bibles brought a sense of comfort and reassurance. Despite the physical losses, the flood victims found solace in the knowledge that they were not alone and that there was hope for the future, anchored in the promises of God’s Word. | | | ‍ For many affected by the floods, the loss was not just material possessions but also spiritual treasures. As one man from the Volta region expressed, “We lost so much in the flood, including our Bibles and other valuable things.” Â
These audio Bibles quickly became a lifeline for those who had lost everything in the floods, offering comfort, strength, and a sense of hope amidst the devastation. As the communities continue to rebuild and recover, they do so with the assurance that they are not forgotten, and that hope springs eternal through the enduring message of the Gospel. Â
Please join us in prayer for recovery and restoration for our brothers and sisters affected by this disaster. Â

| | “How old is that laptop?” he asked, with eyes wide open. I looked at him, estimated him to be about 12 years old, and replied, “Older than you!”  My wife and I have been traveling to MissionFests and now Home School conferences across Canada for over 15 years, and that laptop has been our companion since Day 1. It has demonstrated our Bible stories to thousands of people.
That young boy had never seen such a large laptop. But he received our Bible story booklet, along with 200 other children at the Alberta Home School conference in Red Deer. We made contact with Christian schools and Bible camps, and others at the conference. But maybe the highlight was those 200 children that may read the Bible stories, followed by the Gospel at the end, and then give their lives to Christ. God knows what He is planning for those precious children. Â
Please pray for them. | | |
