Go to the ant ... consider ... and be wise. Proverbs 6

Munching the last mouthful of my juicy red apple, I dropped pieces of the core around the ant hill and watched.

First one ant tried to drag a lump of apple home for all the others to share.  The ant was small, the load too big, so the ant scurried away for help.

Soon a work gang surrounded the piece of apple.  Pushing and pulling, twisting and turning, the ants dragged the apple piece into the ant hill.

They succeeded because they kept at it and worked together.

Prayer: Lord, let the ants be my teacher and help me to work well with others to serve You.  Amen.
