When you pass through the waters I will be with you. Isaiah 43:2

In Chad, Africa, many years ago, travel was not easy. One missionary making a cross-country trip with his African helpers, came to a river wide and deep. The current was strong. There was no bridge. How would he get across?

'I will get you across,' a strong African said. 'You sit in your bath tub.' He pulled the missonary's metal bath tub into the water and, with help from other men, guided the little tub with the missionary scrunched inside. They crossed safely.

There are many dangers on the mission field, but God watches over His servants.
