Some church services may seem long. But you've never been to one as long as the service Ezra, God's servant, held one day. It started before breakfast and went on until lunchtime. Even more unusual - the people all stood up as the minister read for hours from the Bible.

These people were full of joy because they had been without the Bible for a long time. Now they could hear God's Word again.

We should be full of joy because we have God's Word and can read it every day.

Prayer: Lord, thank You that I can read Your Word every day. Amen.
