‍Audio Recording
Our Stories, Your Voice

Thank you to many volunteers who are adding your voices to our Bible stories. Children are able to hear the stories as well as read them, which multiplies the blessing for them. And in addition, the Bible stories can then be used in literacy programs around the world. Even adults learn to read in this way!

We already have audio for over 100 languages, but there are many hundreds of languages waiting for audio. You do not need to be a “professional”. Just imagine you are reading to your children or grandchildren.

Volunteers are needed especially for our main 7 Bible stories in each language. Bible for Children will provide instructions, and you can use your phone and a small quiet room to make the recordings. Please let us know your heart language by emailing randy@bibleforchildren.org, and we will let you know if we have a need for that language. Thank you!

‍What's New at
Bible for Children

Native North American Bible Stories

For 20 years Bible for Children has been seeking translators for First Nations languages.  We are thankfull that Bessie came forward so we have Oji-Cree Bible stories in both Roman and Syllabics fonts.

But now we have partnered with the Canadian Bible Society to add over a dozen new languages. We are using their Bibles, some of which were translated long ago, to create Bible stories. We are very excited about this answer to prayer, and we hope these Bible stories will encourage children to learn their own language as they learn about Jesus.

1,000 Languages

We have just passed our goal of adding Bible stories in 1,000 new languages.  We are very thankful for our teams in India and here in Canada who have worked faithfully for three years to accomplish this amazing undertaking.

Around the World

I serve with a ministry in Nigeria. Our team supports the work of missions through the production of vernacular media resources, including audio recording and mastering, video dubbing, mobile applications, and other media products designed to make God’s Word accessible in local languages.

I recently came across your website while exploring resources on Joshua Project, and I was encouraged by the work you are doing to serve children through quality content and resources. One area that is particularly close to my heart is the development of children’s resources in Nigerian languages. As I explored your platform, I noticed that there are currently limited resources available in many Nigerian languages. This presents a significant opportunity to reach children with engaging, culturally relevant, and language-appropriate content. Through our work in Nigeria, we have access to language communities, translators, and media production teams, making it possible to translate children’s stories and resources into a number of Nigerian languages and develop them into audio, video, and digital formats.
