Major Breakthrough
Did you know? The MailBox Club, based in Georgia, U.S.A., is a Christian ministry that, since 1958 has provided Bible studies to millions of children. TMC exists to win children and young people of the world to Christ and, through Bible courses, help nurture them into spiritual maturity and into active fellowship in local churches.
In 2018 TMC reached an enrolment figure of 3.8 million children in 80 countries. TMC courses are currently available in over 100 languages. You will learn much more about this great ministry by visiting TMC website at: www.mailboxclub.org.
On a recent trip, Greg met with TMC workers in Georgia. TMC is very willing to work with Bible for Children in expanding outreach to the children of the world. Specifically, BFC wants to help TMC convert printed Bible lessons in their current 100 languages into electronic format for the Internet. Then BFC will link to these lessons from its own websites.
TMC wants to reach the cell phone world of tomorrow. But, to spread the seed of God’s Word this way, more labourers are needed. Please pray for God to provide the volunteers (non-technical people can easily be trained) or funds to hire such help.
Audio Bible Stories
Many children in several of countries cannot read. We have been asked to provide as many audio Bible for Children stories as we can, to be used around the world. Now that we have our Bible stories translated into almost 200 languages, we are ready to take the further step of creating audio Bible stories (while, of course, pursing our original vision of adding more languages so more children can be encountered with the truth about Jesus in their mother tongue).
Until now, we have been delayed from adding audio to the stories because of the major costs involved. However, there is a new computer program that can convert text into audio, in about 20 languages. The voice sounds very much like a human voice. We need someone to apply this new technology to BFC stories, so please pray.
The audio Bible stories will also be a blessing to the blind. In fact, one ministry has already given out our English audio Bible
stories on CDs at an event for the blind.
Bible Story Booklets
Our 24 page Bible story booklet is composed of our main 6 Bible stories revealing God’s plan from Genesis to Revelation. Many people give out these booklets faithfully and they are also used by other ministries such as the chapel at the Winnipeg airport. [The possibility exists to provide the booklets to all Canadian airports that offer chaplaincy ministries.] At our last meeting, our Board decided to print another 10,000 of these booklets, at a cost of about 30 cents each. If you are waiting for some, please be patient. And please pray they will be available soon, as the Lord provides.
Good News from Peru
Bible for Children is now providing Bible stories for children in Peru who speak Quechua. There are 10 million people that speak this language. Please pray for Peru.
Good News from Uganda
Bible for Children is now providing Bible stories for children in Uganda who speak Lango. There are 2.6 million people that speak this language. This picture from Noah and the Great Flood shows the Lango text. Please pray for Uganda.

Our grandson, Isaiah helped us drive home. On the way he was impressed with Noah’s Ark in Kentucky. Isaiah helps us create the eBooks for the online bookstores. Actually, Mary-Anne and I have fifteen grandchildren, many of whom have been able to help now and again with tasks related to BFC ministries.
