Matthew 19:14

Jesus said,“Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

PRAYER & PRAISE

Thank you for taking the time to peruse all the detailed information on the world’s top languages according to the number of people who use them.

We praise God that He has enabled Bible For Children to provide Bible stories in so many of the top fifty languages—but there is much more to accomplish. We hear Isaiah’s challenge: Enlarge ...stretch out ...do not spare, lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes (Is.54:2) As we think in millions, keep in mind that God loves each and every one individually.

Pray also for those around the world who use BFC materials in their ministry to the children of their area. How blessed it is to be part of such a world-wide ministry, sharing the Light. Thank You, dear Lord.

PrayerLink

Great Translation Project

Our current outreach goal is to have Bible stories for children in 100 languages. You will find a detailed report below, so you will know which languages to pray for. In this issue, the top 50 languages of the world are listed, showing which languages are still needed. We discovered that almost all the Chinese languages have the same text, even though they are spoken entirely differently. So one translation covers 7 or 8 languages! - and gives access to around one full fifth of the entire world’s population!

We especially need African languages, and some other key ones around the world.

Thank you for praying and standing with us in these efforts to glorify God and comply with Jeremiah’s great vision (Jer. 22:29)

Mail from around the world

China: Hello, I want some English Bible stories for children. My daughter like to listen to the bible stories. I hope to receive the book. Thanks a lot. Lin hai xing

Ireland: I have long looked at your site and thought it to be almost exactly what I would want to use to tell my children in Church more about the Bible. I am a minister in Northern Ireland. My hope is that I can use these excellent graphics to teach 'my children' more about God's Word. Thank you. (Rev) Ken

India: I have distributed the Pamplets which you have send with love to our Sunday school children (in Andhra Pradesh, India). Definetly we all are going to be benefited by knowing more about HIM, from the small real stories. May I request if there are any sunday school books that can be send to us? Thank you very much. ... Yes I can take prints from your website... Thank you for your prayers...We pray for you... Sis. Kamala

Finland: I´m a teacher from Finland and very pleased with your pages. I´m going to use them with children ´cause they are better than our old religion-book. Kati

Heart to Heart

I was greatly encouraged at our Annual General Meeting. So many friends have been part of our Bible for Children family since the beginning. However, we missed some who have already gone to be with Jesus.

I will admit that sometimes the long hours are tiring, and I am tempted to slow down. Then I meet with dear brothers on the Board, and encouragement flows from them to me. This encouragement is multiplied at our annual meeting. Thank you, everyone! Greg.
