Our ministry is on a mission of reaching children with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that when Jesus said that the harvest is great, that many people are ready to receive Him as their Lord and Saviour, He had to be talking mostly about children. They are the ones who are most ripe and ready to yield to God. With this goal of reaching as many children with the Gospel we are conducting children outreach throughout the year.  We believe that your ministry aligns with our mission since you work hard to reach children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our country.

I would like to utilize these bible stories PowerPoint slides for our church students who are in grade 3 and grade 6 upcoming 2025-2026 year. And, I would like to share these only in our church English speaker students who are trying to learn bible in Korean!  May I have a permission to teach by using these wonderful slides based on bible stories?

Haiti

We are launching a free/non-commercial website and app Haiti that has Creative Commons books from a number of sources around the world.  The purpose of the app is simple - to provide kids and schools in Haiti who have no books with access to thousands of them on tablets, laptops or phones for free.  The books and sources have been handpicked for Haiti. Most of the schools in Haiti are Christian so naturally, they want Bible Stories.  We already have your bible stories in French, English and Spanish.  It looks like you have translated 6 of the 60 stories into Haitian Creole.  We would like to have our translator in Haiti translate the remaining 54 and put them on our site and in our app.

Laos

As we know Laos is a closed country for the Good news and sharing is a risk for security reasons.  So, I would like to ask your permission to use the resources for Tiktok, as Tiktok is quite popular and most of teenagers and youth are accessing. In this way we can help them access the Living word.

Partner Highlight

featuring one of our partner ministries

Our partnership with Wycliffe just may be more important than all of our others.  Translators have given their entire lives to one tribe to learn their language, create a written language, translate the Bible into that language, and finally teach the people to read the Bible in their language.  Bibles in every language are being gathered together into a Digital Bible Library.  Bible for Children signs license agreements with translation ministries such as Wycliffe to access these Bibles and create Bible stories for the children in each language.  Wycliffe is the largest ministry with Bible portions in over 1000 languages.

Wycliffe reports that around the world, there are at least 7,300 known spoken or signed languages. Bible translation is being done in more than 4,304 languages worldwide.  The Big Five are the areas of the world that represent the highest remaining needs for Bible translation. Today that’s East Asia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu and the global Deaf.

For more than 80 years, Wycliffe Bible Translators has helped people around the world translate the Bible into their own languages. What started as one young man’s vision that every man, woman and child would be able to understand God’s Word in their own language has grown into a global movement.  Through every season, God has been faithful in continuing to lead Wycliffe toward the vision of everyone having access to Scripture in a language and format that touches their heart.

God is raising up local churches to take the lead in Bible translation for their own communities, countries and even entire regions, accelerating the pace like never before. As churches increasingly take ownership and Bible translation accelerates, Wycliffe transitions to the critical role of catalyst in the movement worldwide. Decades of expertise strategically position us to support local leaders in accomplishing their vision through technology, resources and funding. This empowers the local church’s ownership of the work in their communities, countries and even entire regions.

Wycliffe uses various tools, such as translation software, cloud-based collaboration, artificial intelligence and digital Scripture formats to make Bible translation more efficient and accessible for translators worldwide.          Please pray for the ongoing translation work around the world.

Bible for Children
World Update Banquet

Saturday, October 25th at NOON.  Faith Church, 386 McGregor Street at Mountain Avenue.  Park on the street or in the Safeway parking lot.  Meal tickets (at the door only) are $10.  Children are free.  All are welcome to join us in Winnipeg, Canada.

We can hardly wait to meet you all once again face to face.  Many people last year appreciated our move to a noon banquet.  No driving in the dark or staying out late.  A few people did prefer the evening, and we are sorry we cannot please everyone.  But our food team definitely does not want to serve two banquets. 🙂

We have two great announcements to reveal at the banquet.  Its not like Apple or Microsoft with their world-changing announcements, but we think the kingdom of God will be pleased.

‍Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:14

1000 Languages

There are 654 languages completed in the 1000 Language vision.  Work continues on the remaining languages.  Licensing agreements now exist with 3 major translation ministries, and BFC also has access to Bibles in many other languages with a more open type of license.

Please pray for the funds needed to complete the work.

Examples of added languages

Bru is spoken by about 300,000 people

 in Laos, Vietnam and Thailand.

The Ayoreo language is spoken by 4,700 people
in Paraguay and Bolivia.

A couple of years ago the city built a path behind our house that meanders for a couple of kilometers.  Many people are on the path every day, just enjoying the walk or exercising.  I like to walk the path and give out our Bible stories, especially when there are families with children.  About half of those people are Punjabi.  So I can’t easily talk with all of them.  But now I have been blessed by a free course on sharing Jesus with your cell phone.  There are videos and Bibles to share in many languages.  I highly recommend this free online course to you.  It takes only 2 or 3 hours to complete, but the results are eternal.
