I will be with you; I will not fail you. Joshua 1:5

The Golden Boy was made in France as a gift to the people of Manitoba, Canada. But the boat carrying the Golden Boy to Canada had to be used for war, so the Golden Boy lay in the cargo hold for five years, sailing back and forth across the ocean.

After the war the Golden Boy was placed where his maker intended him to be - on top of the Legislative Buildings in Manitoba.

God has placed you right where He wanted you to be.  He is always with you, to help you in every need.

Prayer: Dear Lord, I thank You for making me and placing me in my family.  Help me to be a blessing.  Amen.

How precious are Your thoughts to me. Psalm 139:17

With a good pair of binoculars, you can see a great distance.  With a powerful telescope, scientists can count the stars in distant space.

But no one, except God, can see into tomorrow.  God knows what will happen in our tomorrows.  God, who made you, knows what will happen all the days of your life.

You don't have to be anxious about anything, because God cares for you.   It is good to trust God and let Him lead you, because He knows what tomorrow holds.

Prayer: Thank You, Lord, that You made me and will care for me all my life.  Amen.

I will praise You ... I am wonderfully made. Psalm 139:14

RoseAnne forgot how slippery the tiles were as she ran around the swimming pool.  Her feet slid from under her.

When she woke up, she was in hospital.  The X-ray showed a broken arm.

Did you ever go to hospital for an X-ray?  X-ray machines let the doctor look under your skin, under your flesh, right at your bones.  X-ray machines don't just show broken bones - they reveal how cleverly our loving God put your body all together.  You are wonderfully made.

Prayer: Lord, help me to praise You because I am wonderfully made.  Amen.

God said, 'Let Us make man in Our image...' Genesis 1:26

It was a hot, prairie day right in the middle of summer school holidays.  The two boys couldn't go to the beach - so they decided to build a tree-house.  They worked hard.  But their tree-house kept falling out of the tree.

Then Dad came home from work.

'Here, boys.'  Drawing a sketch, Dad told them, 'You need a plan to work from.'

God, Who loves us, had a design when He made us.  God made us just like Himself.  Let's pray that we will be like God in our daily lives.

Prayer: Lord, help me to be like You in all I do, for Jesus' sake.  Amen.

May you be blessed by the Lord Who made Heaven and earth. Psalm 115:15

Have you ever seen a soap-stone carving?  Perhaps you have one in your home.

Inuit, who live in the cold climate of the far North, make them.  Soap-stone carvings cost lots of money to buy because it takes great skill and many hours of work to make one.  Some people who are not Inuit have learned how to make good soap-stone carvings.

When God made people, He did something nobody else could do.  Isn't God wonderful?

Prayer: Thank You, God, for making me and for loving me.  Help me to praise You.  Amen.
