|
As you peruse this issue of PrayerLink, do pause to pray and offer praise every time you read a specific name (personal or country); see a face; or are confronted with a number that represents God’s love reaching out in the world.
Pray for each child who accesses BFC site and reads the Bible stories; and for those who follow the new link to UBDavid site to sign up for individual Bible studies that will help them grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Praise God for the Christians who are reaching out to the world for Jesus through the Internet. Like Paul the apostle, we must all reach out by all means to make Jesus known.
Pray for refugee families, many who have been bombed out of their homes and countries. In this season of rejoicing, let’s not forget that many still need to hear of the Light of the world Whose birthday we especially celebrate at this time. Let us praise Him in practical ways.

Bible Studies for Children
We know that children are coming to Jesus through our Bible stories. What then? We are very excited about UBDavid.org, which provides online Bible lessons for children in 3 languages (more coming). The lessons are basically like the Child Evangelism Mailbox Club, but with major adaptation for the Internet.
We link to their website, rather than developing our own Bible lessons. Last month alone, UBDavid.org had almost 3,000 sessions coming from our link to them. Please pray for UBDavid as they follow up with all these children, and as they develop more languages for their Bible lessons.

Ghana: I have a Children Home in Ghana and every year i visit them to donate stuffs and others things like Bibles to those who does not know the Lord, who cannot afford one to go to Church, villagers ,students, churches and orphans, so that those who doesn't know and also never hear the Word will, that is why i have come to you to help me with some bibles to give to those people mention above this coming January. Pakistan: We are working in Pakistan for the orphans children who have no family background at present, street children, fatherless and motherless children are in part. We started with 2 children now 35 children are part . Children are in the age of 3 to 15 years. All the children are school going. We need your prayers and love and support to our orphaned children. Christmas came early to some folk in Guatemala when Salomon and Blanca Escobar used their vacation to bring relief items to earthquake victims in Guatemala. Along with blankets, building materials and medical supplies, the Escobars distributed hundreds of Spanish BFC story tracts. “The kids there were very grateful and excited to have the stories,” Salomon reported. “And we’re privileged to share God’s Word in our world.”

Heart to Heart |

Next year I will turn 65 (Lord willing). Time, begun by God so long ago, slips quickly by. We are indeed as the grass which grows up in the morning, and fades away in the evening. We are indeed dust and vapor. But eternity is coming! Eternal life for all who know Christ as their Saviour.
We must live this time in light of the time to come. We must reach all we can, before the time for reaching is over. Are we building riches in heaven, or are we hoarding them here on earth?
I have found Him faithful to His promises, and claimed as my life verse, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33. Let us give our all for Jesus, and He will give His all for us! Greg
